Deleting your account and data

Last updated: 5 August 2026

Delete it yourself, at any time

You do not need to ask us. Sign in at atsme.me, open Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm. The deletion runs immediately and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

  • Your user record — email, name, password hash, and language preference.
  • Your public page, including your handle, which is released for anyone else to claim.
  • Every content block, link and social icon on that page.
  • Every image you uploaded, including your avatar.
  • Your sign-in sessions, and the link between your account and Google or Facebook.

How long it takes

Your account, page and content are gone the moment you confirm. Uploaded images are deleted at the same time; if our storage provider is unreachable at that moment, a daily clean-up job removes anything left over within 24 hours.

We email you once the deletion is done, so you know if someone else deleted your account. Residual copies in our encrypted backups are overwritten within our normal backup cycle.

If you signed in with Facebook or Google

Removing Atsme from your Facebook or Google account settings disconnects that login, but it does not delete your Atsme account or your public page. To delete those, use Settings → Account → Delete account as described above.

If you can no longer sign in — you lost access to the social account you signed up with, for example — email us at support@atsme.me from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.
